Randomness

I want to wish a happy belated 21st birthday to Billy…I’m sure he partied hard (and is maybe still recuperating).
Anyway, summer has been going well thus far. CU’s Kawaskii Bacon had a great showing at the 2006 NCAA Track & Field championships in Charlotte, North Carolina. He represented Concordia well, and I’m proud of him.
I’m back home in Wisconsin, but I had to run back to Concordia to . . . sign some documents and pick up some artwork. On the way home I was rear-ended by some guy on his cell phone. Luckilly, my car (I call it ‘The Dynasty’) held up pretty well. To cut a long story short, I won’t be taking him to the People’s Court any time soon.
I’m certainly enjoying the weather this summer. Some days are nice and hot, while other days are cool and rainy. The rain is sure helping the grass and all the crops (unlike last summer).
One of my best friends from high school is graduating from M.I.T. in a couple weekends. I’d like to go out and see him, but I’m pretty poor and I really could only afford to bike there.
Other than that, there’s not much else going on with me. Just working and tryin’ to stay out of trouble!
