What is Nor//?

Well, it’s America’s 231st birthday, and I’m sitting at Panera using their free Wi-fi. The past few weeks have flown by because of work, graduation parties, a bout with a cold, playing music, and enjoying all that summer has to offer. It’s hard to believe that summer’s half over and in a mere 6 weeks I’ll be moving into CSP for the last time. I’m sure that as senior year begins, I’ll get more sentimental and introspective, perhaps even a bit philosophical (well, I am taking Philosophy next year).

I’d say the highlight of the summer so far would be playing with Nor// on a deck for a graduation party of a good friend. Now, to some, Nor// would probably annoy and cause serious exasperation. Some would say it’s pure aural bliss. But alas, since it’s two of my closest friends in the band, it’s a blast. Combining elements of grind-core, pop rock, hip-hop and soft rock, Nor// creates an ethereal experience paralleled by nothing. Tomorrow looks to be a day of baseball, as I will be going with camp to a minor league game in the afternoon, and then to the White Sox/ Orioles game in the evening. It. should be alot of fun, and I might even post a few pictures. Enjoy the 4th, and celebrate ^ **responsibly.
