another top 10 list
July 30th, 2007 by Billy SchultzThis one goes out to the soon to be 2007-08 academic year, and things which I am looking forward to within it (in no particular order)…
-Fish: I actually get to lead a praise team, and I’m stoked to do so.
-Student Senate: I’m excited to be president, and looking forward to seeing what kind of things we’ll be able to accomplish for the sake of the entire student body.
-the new Residence Life Center: 3 relatively old dorms will be coming down, and a sweet new building’s going to be built in their place.
-a refurbished chapel: on top of the already new fellowship center, there will be some upgrades the the existing part of the chapel, all of which will be fantastic.
-apartment living: I’m looking forward to living in an apartment where I can cook my own food and feel more independent.
-applying for sem: sure it’s a lot of work, but it’s what I want to do (and what I believe God is calling me to do).
- an easy schedule: 12 credits each semester (golf is one of them second semester) + a couple of gen eds. = relative ease for me
- football season: at least the Bears will have another good chance to make the playoffs
-being single: although this could change at some point, which I wouldn’t mind, it’s one less thing to balance in my already busy life.
- the office: season 4 will be the best yet
