Disbelief

I am writing this from the Orlando airport as I wait to get home from the youth gathering, watching CNN’s coverage of this sickening tragedy and I still cannot believe what has happened in Minneapolis. I was watching Fox News last night when the story broke, and watched the story unfold over the next 5 or 6 hours with an extremely heavy heart. It’s hard to imagine what it was like for those on the bridge as it collapsed, and my heart goes out to them and their families. It’s shocking to imagine something of such a large scale happening in Minnesota. I’ve only been up there for 3 years, but the TC has become like a home to me, and it’s the closest I’ve ever felt to such a catastrophe. I am praying for all involved, their friends, families, doctors, rescuers, and the entire state of Minnesota during the long road to recovery from this.
