First Day o’ Classes

August 23rd, 2007 by Tim Sailer

Well, well, well
So far today I:
–attended Applied Grammar…
–munched on my “commuter lunch” during Literary Theory
–had Christus call backs for the bass section. Apparently, I sang a low C, which isn’t typical of most baritone voices. I’m guessing it was just a fluke kind of day and will never happen again. I just don’t want to be a 2nd bass. This probably doesn’t mean anything to a lot of you devoted readers, but it was a surprising revelation.
–sat in the theatre department meeting and saw lots of new faces. This season is gonna be crazy
–Watched “Mythbusters” and “Dirty Jobs” on the Discovery Channel
–Ate this beef-mashed potato-carrot-zucchini-concoction for dinner
–Went to Target and talked to my parents on the phone. They are in Lincoln, Neb., taking my brother Aaron to his first year at Concordia Seward. Okay, we don’t need to have any bashing of other Concordias at Freshly Squeezed. So I’ll just stop saying anything. I know he’ll have a good time there though.

And now I’m chillin’ at Dunn Brothers with one of my roommates, J.

I would dive into deep discussions on the homework I have already, but that would be depressing.

Here’s a picture of the final pose from the 2007 Phantom Regiment show “On Air”
