This is a 30 second commercial I did for the Concordia University-St. Paul Writing Center. The video is shot in a classic 1950s style, with movie reel effects and appropriate audio.


Fall Break

Well, my fall break had its ups and downs.
On the up side, I got a few days off of school and I got to see my high school team win their homecoming.
On the down side, I had to work two days out of the four, I had to spend a lot of money on my car, and my laptop crashed. I had planned to use the four days off to catch up on work (including two major projects) and maybe even get ahead…but I had to sit idle during the break.

Come Monday, I’ll have all the regular homework to do plus all the work that piled up over the weekend.
Grrr…I just try to keep my eyes on God and know that He’ll get me through these times when I’m most stressed.

Dear Devoted Freshly Squeezed Blog Readers,
You are about to embark in a reading of my epic weekend. It was full of hard work, relaxation, and even more hard work. Still, it felt like a true weekend, which I’ve been deprived of for some time. Last weekend, I was traveling to and from Sioux Falls to get a new driver’s license. Now my friends can no longer make fun of my 9th grade mug shot. (more…)
