hello all! i’m finally settled in boston and getting acquainted with the area. the traffic here is crazy, so i’m glad i’m in walking distance of most everything. classes haven’t started yet, which is nice. tuesday is the big day! we had orientation this past thursday and friday including a rather difficult theory placement exam. eek! we’ll see how i did on that. i’ll let you know… Read the rest of this entry »

well folks, i fear it’s been a while since my last post. so here it is.
i’ve *finally* posted pics on my flickr. mostly a bunch from my 2006 summer in cambridge, england, uk. this included some side trips to glasgow to visit a mate of mine and a whim of a trip to killarney, ireland. the other pics are from choir tour 2006 and just some other random ones. more will go up as i find the time to resize and upload. This past weekend my sister graduated from law school, which was quite exciting for my family. Many relatives came to the affair, and it was a nice time. As the older of the 2 younger sisters, I was in charge of some preparations, which kept me busy most of the week leading up, but then I also had to pack some of my stuff up for my parents to take with them. The end of the school year isn’t just the end of one’s experience for many at Concordia. Today and tomorrow, over 70 alums are coming back for their Golden Reunion, meaning they graduated in 1957. It’s hard to imagine what Concordia would have looked like at that time. This is the third reunion I’ve gotten to be a part of, and it’s always neat to see people so enthusiastic to see each other and explore CSP again. That’s what I’ll get to look forward to - in 49 years!
