Well, it’s America’s 231st birthday, and I’m sitting at Panera using their free Wi-fi. The past few weeks have flown by because of work, graduation parties, a bout with a cold, playing music, and enjoying all that summer has to offer. (more…)

It’s flawed, just like the rest of the world, but the most beautiful city in it. I’ve been downtown a couple of times in the past week for day camp field trips, and each time I’m reminded of it’s beauty. If you haven’t been at all or in a while, I highly recommend it. There’s some thing for everyone: sports, culture, nightlife, architecture, parks, the lake, and food.

The past few weeks I’ve been reading Velvet Elvis by Rob Bell, a look into the Christian faith from a postmodern viewpoint and directed at people who fit into that subculture. (more…)
