Well, well, well

It’s hard to believe that it’s been three years since I came to CSP as a freshman, knowing virtually no one here, optimistic about how college life was going to be. (more…)
I’m so sorry to be gone for the past two weeks! But I ended up being really crazy and jumping on tour with Phantom Regiment for the final stretch. I’ve been gushing about this activity all summer. I don’t expect you to understand how much this activity means to me.
So I’ll explain that and give another list of what I’m excited for as school starts up. (Good idea, Billy) (more…)
This one goes out to the soon to be 2007-08 academic year, and things which I am looking forward to within it (in no particular order)… (more…)
Grades were finally posted yesterday, and I was pleasantly surprised. Sure, I put effort into all my classes, but there were countless times this semester that I completely slacked and had no motivation to study or do homework. About mid-April I was hit with the idea that I’d completely bombed this semester because of this apathy. That said, I’m glad that I did finish strong and I honestly felt confident that my kick at the end pushed me to do as well as I did. If only the plus / minus system wasn’t in place; otherwise, I’d have a 4.0 this semester.
I’m getting antsy this summer, because I really haven’t done much this summer and I’m getting bored. Work (OSLC Daycamp!) doesn’t start until June 4th, so the most work I’ve done is the normal yard work. I guess playing guitar and drums all day will suffice until then.
Four days until my 21st birthday…
So I was sitting in Barnes and Noble in Sioux Falls (probably one of my favorite places in good ol’ Soo Foo), and I was thinking that there were a lot of good highlights from this past school year.
So here they are. They aren’t in any order, however. I don’t know that I can do that ranking thing, and people will always disagree. Each have their own value (that sounds so cheesy, but it’s true). Bear with me; I know this is long. If you don’t like it, write your own.
So, in all honesty, I should be reviewing Henry V and Richard III for my Shakespeare final, but that wouldn’t be as fun as writing in this schnazzy new thing.
Here goes the obligatory introduction:
My name is Tim, and I’m finishing up my second year at Concordia already. I don’t mean to sound cliche, but it feels like it was only a month ago that my parent’s van was loaded up with a lot of stuff I didn’t need as I moved into room 222 in Walther 2 South. Now I’m moving into Minneapolis with some friends for the entire year.
